BKCC had the please of hosting a distinguished group of speakers and guests for International Womens Day 2026, under the theme ‘My Daughter, my Mother and I – Intergenerational Gender Struggles’
Inspired by the UN Women 2026 theme on intergenerational equality, this event showcased stories of women from different generations to reflect on how gender struggles have evolved — and how the voices, resilience, and experiences of those who came before continue to shape the journeys of those who follow.
Through short personal reflections, our speakers shared lived experiences and perspectives on progress, persistence, and the collective responsibility to move gender equality forward.
