On November 27th from 3.30pm to 5pm the British- Kosovar Chambers of Commerce ihosted an afternoon tea in the Cholmondeley Room and Terrace in the House of Lords.
The event will celebrated the many different British Kosovar and British Albanian people and organisations in our country particularly those contributing to our economic, public and academic life.
The event brought together representatives from Kosovan and Albanian Embassies in London, British Parliament and numerous British Kosovans and British Albanians from business, academia and many other walks of life.
The presedint of the BKCC, Artan Llabjani, shared a bit from his journey since moving to the UK: When I started my life in the UK almost 30 years ago, there were very few Albanians here. We were a small community finding our way. Today, we see British Albanians holding top positions in business, academia, public service, and across many parts of the country. This progress is a testament to hard work, and the belief that anything is possible with determination. This journey has been possible not only through our own hard work and determination, but also thanks to the support we have received from our British friends and institutions. For that, we are truly grateful.
Other guest speakers also shared their experiences and support for the further developemnt and strengthening of this partnership.
